Moving Together: Activism, Art and Education
A Week with Angela Davis

This weeklong series of events brought together artists, activists, scholars, public institutions and grassroots groups. Together with Angela Y. Davis and Gina Dent the project explored social justice, artistic and scholarly praxis, intergenerational activism and the responsibility of public institutions.
The program included performances, workshops, public lectures, a special Amsterdam Black Heritage Tour, and much more.
The aim was to generate and contribute to broad-based societal conversations on the interrelations of art, activism and education in the pursuit of social justice, decolonization and liberation.
